Lotus must choose: should she stay quiet and risk her beloved hair, or put aside her peaceful vibe and risk everything to fight back? I read this eBook via the Libby app, and I obtained it through San Francisco Public Library. Lotus Bloom and the Afro Revolution was on the Longlist, in 2022, for the National Book Award in Young People’s Literature.
