I’ve worked part-time since April 2015 for Body Support Systems, the creator and manufacturer of the bodyCushion™, a set of cushions specially engineered for use during massage and other physical therapy treatments.

Body Support Systems: Debut blog post

My debut blog post for Body Support Systems, Inc. went live on its website today. The post highlights an appearance by owner/founder Tom Owens at the World Massage Festival this coming week.

Body Support Systems produces the bodyCushion™, an orthopedic positioning system that therapeutic practitioners, including massage therapists, use when treating their clients. I have worked part-time with the company for a little more than one year.

Editing and blogging are activities I enjoy, so I appreciate having this outlet as part of my professional responsibilities. I have a few more posts incubating and look forward to posting them soon.

Starfire on my bodyCushion™

I recently brought home a bodyCushion™, an orthpedic positioning pad, from Body Support Systems where I work part-time. Tonight it came as no surprise to find Starfire on my bodyCushion™. (To tell the truth, as the towel placement attests, I expected this development.) Starfire is a connoisseur of soft places to sleep, and the contoured orthopedic pad — while designed to support the human body and help human muscles to relax — also seemed perfectly molded to luxuriously cradle my cat.

Had a productive day: worked my shift in Bellview Elementary School library then rode my bike to Body Support Systems, Inc., where I put in 2.5 hours of work doing industrial sewing.
