Book-Talk: Night of the Abiku by Craig Kofi Farmer
When his eighth-grade class becomes stranded during a field trip to a southern plantation, Winston comes face to face with something terrifying within the mansion’s walls.
Winston’s first-person narrative immediately throws the reader into a scene of immersive urgency. I recommend this book for young readers who like horror, especially those who like thought-provoking themes along with their chills. Look for this middle-grade novel of horror and suspense in March 2027.
