The American Library Association (ALA) has released its
ALACognotes summary of the ALA Midwinter Meeting. Among its highlights: 2013 Youth Media Award winners announced by the ALA, an author forum among Ruth Ozeki, Terry Brooks, Gregg Olsen and Ivan Doig; a presentation by author Steven Johnson touting libraries as “Great places for Eureka moments” and the Public Library Association promoting digital literacy resources for public libraries. ALA Annual Conference taking place in Chicago from June 27 to July 2.
