With the ruling on May 19 by by U.S. District Court Judge Michael McShane, Oregon became the
18th state to lift a ban on marriage between same-sex couples. For UU World, Elaine McArdle highlights weddings that offered more than 70 joyful couples an opportunity to be married on the day the ban was lifted.
