As a person on the spectrum, I reacted with dismay to each film, PR campaign or Suzanne Wright op-ed that vilified people like me: that suggested we were “missing,” that we were soulless husks, burdens on society and were to blame for disintegrating families.
Will the appointment of Stephen Shore and Valerie Paradiz bring an end to these offensive practices?
“It’s harder to raise money when there are no villains and demons, but it can be done,” says Robison. “Will they rise to this challenge, or fall back on the old ways?”
