‘LearningExpress’ through Sonoma County Library

I wasn’t able to vote “Yes” for Measure Y in support of increased funding for Sonoma County Library; at the time I had not yet relocated back from Ashland, Oregon. But I encouraged area readers to cast their votes in support.

Sonoma County residents are now reaping the benefits of Measure Y’s successful passage — and I am pleased to highlight some of the resources available as a result.

A recent post by Kathy DeWeese at the SCL blog touts the arrival of LearningExpress. This online resource offers educational support for users of all ages: nearly 1,000 tutorials, practice tests and eBooks addressing a variety of skills for academic and career success.

Access to these materials is available to users with a Library Card. And if you don’t already have one, when better time to take action than during Library Card Sign-up Month? It’s the “most important back-to-school supply.”
