Sonoma County Library adult ‘Bingo Challenge’

Partial view of Bingo Challenge card that has typeset challenges with handwritten entries in the grids. Stacked on top of the Bingo sheet are a small notebook with logo of Sonoma County Library, seed packet for Habanero Peppers and rough-paper bookmark with seeds embedded in it

If you’re at all curious about in-library and online resources available through Sonoma County Library, now’s a good time to try them out for the summer-reading Bingo Challenge.

Learn a new skill through LinkedIn Learning’s Lynda.com, broaden your ability to communicate via Mango Languages, or browse Hoopla Digital for eBooks, music, audio books or videos. (Don’t forget to also make in-person visits and check the library shelves.)

Exploring these and more lets you fill in a square on your Bingo card. Attending a live event and performing an act of kindness also earn credit too — and reading a book of your choice can be substituted for any activity on any square on the card.

For every row completed on their Bingo card, participants receive a special prize. The seeds, bookmark and note pad shown are the first three Bingo prizes.

With each Bingo, participants fill out raffle tickets to be entered in prize drawings. A grand-prize raffle ticket will also be awarded for completing all 25 squares, with winners announced Sept. 1.
